The Beginning Together Institute (aka "Module V") focuses on the information and skills needed to include infants and toddlers who have disabilities or special needs in child care and
other settings, with an emphasis on partnership.

To attend the Institute,
PITC graduates must have completed Modules I-IV
by May 29, 2015

Schedule:

Sunday, July 19: 4-6:30 pm, First Session; 6:30-7:30 pm Welcome Reception

Monday, July 20: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Sessions

Tuesday, July 21: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Sessions

Wednesday, July 22: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Sessions

Thursday, July 23: 8:30 am - 12 Noon, Sessions

Cost:

$1800*, includes lodging for four nights at double occupancy (single occupancy available at additional cost); all day-time meals; and Institute materials.

* California Residents: A limited number of scholarships are available from the California Department of Education, Early Education & Support Division for California residents who are fully certified in Modules I-IV, agree to complete the Module V certification process, agree to incorporate information from this Institute into their future trainings, AND pay the registration fee of $200 by May 29, 2015. Please note that scholarship recipients must attend ALL sessions or they will forfeit their scholarships.

Fees also available for California day commuters (please contact the event organizer).

Fees are nonrefundable.

PRE- AND POST-EVENT LODGING

Because we are near Disneyland, the hotel has agreed to provide reduced Institute lodging rates for two days before the Institute and two days after. Bring your friends and family to the Institute, who can tour Southern California while you learn -- then you can all go to Disneyland and surrounds either July 17-19 or July 23-25.
